In my opinion

"The Ashford Traditional may well be the best spinning wheel ever made! The single foot treadle makes for smooth effortless spinning, single drive model, a 3 legged design that keep it stable on any surface plus a floor standing lazy kate included in the price!"

This has been and continues to be a hugely popular spinning wheel and I would recommend it without a moments hesitation. You'll find it so easy to maintain a smooth and steady speed. The traditional hooked style flyer with 4 speeds is fitted with a scotch tension style brake band for precise and easy adjustment or you can choose a double drive model. The 3 legs give good stability on any surface with no wobble. It comes with a seperate floor standing lazy Kate, 4 standard bobbins, a threading hook and a learn to spin booklet to get you started.

    Options...

This wheel comes from the factory left as natural untreated wood. It is a good idea to wax all of the wooden parts (prior to assembly is best) to protect from finger marks and enhance the wood grain. If you choose our custom waxed option above we will do that for you!

This model comes mostly flat packed and requires assembly. You can also order this wheel professionally assembled, waxed and set up by FibreHut. Worth the trip to WR11 7RE to collect as we cannot post assembled wheels.
