Egg shell dyed Merino
This is 23 micron (64's) merino combed wool top which has been commercially dyed so you can re-order the same colours time and time again. Sourced from South Africa or South America (depending on availability) and always from non-mulesed flocks.
You'll find Merino to be one of the finest and softest wools of any sheep and because of this it is a very popular choice. It spins very well either on a spinning wheel or on a drop spindle and is widely used for needle felting and wet felting. Merino dyes very well but because these are already dyed we don't recommend over dyeing unless you know what you are doing.
