This regular size Ashford niddy noddy will wind a 1.5m (60") yarn skein

In the UK, a skein is the way yarn is wound into loops then twisted back on itself to make a neat bundle that will need to be wound into a ball before use. Wind your yarn onto this niddy noddy and count each loop as you go. Then multiply by 1.5m (60") to give you an approx yarn length. (This may change due to stretch or after washing).
