To test the pH level (acidity) of the dye bath...

Simply dip the end of one strip of test paper into the dye bath for 1 or 2 seconds and remove. Compare the colour on the test paper with colour chart within 5 seconds of removal. The colour produced will indicate the pH of the solution.

• Enough for 40 tests

Add citric acid to achieve a pH level of around 3 (unless you are using Easydye - all in one)

• 1-3 Indicates a very high Acidic Substance
• 4-6 Indicates an Acidic Substance
  
• 7 Indicates Neutral
  
• 8-11 Indicates an Alkaline Substance
  
• 12-14 Indicates a very high level of Alkalinity
  

Store in a cool dry place.
