There are 4 types (refer to pictures)...

1. For Ashford Traditional spinning wheels manufactured prior to 1975 with a 9mm hole.
2. Traditional, Traveller, Kiwi 2, Joy 2, eSpinner 2 & Elizabeth 2 with a 12mm hole.
3. Screw in type for Country Spinner 2, Kiwi Super Flyer, Traditional and Traveller spinning wheels.
4. Flat top type for Kiwi 3, eSpinner 3 and newer Joy 2 with a 12mm hole

The newer 12mm knob can be made to fit the older wheels by sanding it down to the the smaller size, however, the older 9mm knob will be too loose if fitted to a newer wheel.
