The Cheviot breed of sheep gets its name from the Cheviot Hills that form the border line between England and Scotland. A good all rounder that spins really nicely both on a drop spindle and on a wheel, takes acid dyes extremely well with bright clear results. A pleasure to spin and a good choice for felting crafts.
