Fix your acid dyes with citric acid - an odourless alternative to vinegar

Use with acid milling dyes. Citric acid is a perfectly safe, very weak organic acid and a natural preservative that is present in citrus fruits. Use instead of white vinegar (no smells!)

TIP: If you live in a hard water area the addition of a little citric acid in the dye bath can aid dye exhaustion.
