Australian Fibre Scour Fleece Cleaner is formulated to remove the 'grease' from wool, alpaca, mohair and other natural fibres. It leaves fleece soft, clean and fresh smelling ready for spinning.
Unlike many scours on the market which are based on industrial formulas for the use in industrial mills which needs to strip all the oils from the fleece to prevent the machinery clogging , this product was developed specifically for hand spinners and does not totally strip the fleece of all its natural oils so in fact improved the results you get from the fleece when spinning.
Fibre Scour is recommended under the Merino mark & Alpaca Mark. AlpacaMark® has been licenced by Australian Alpaca Fleece Ltd to Fibre Scour following testing by Graham Walters & Associates following testing for colour fastness, clean ability & handle.
