Here's your chance to own a genuine used Ashford Traditional single drive, single treadle spinning wheel. This wheel came to us in a very poor state but has been brought back to life. Has new flyer hooks, new flyer bearings, new brake band & spring, new leather conrod joint and a new cotton drive band. Thoroughly hand waxed for years of protection. The wheel does have a slight wobble on the flyer but nevertheless spins very well. It also has a couple of historic repairs on the hub and outer wheel plus a few minor marks, dings & scratches. The wheel dates from around the 1980's and has a 2 speed single drive flyer complete with 1 original bobbin. This is an ideal purchase on a budget!
