This rare breed wool is particularly good for spinning and dyeing!

  • Combed wool top
  • 100% natural shade
  • 100% wool
  • British breed
  • Staple length approx 60mm to 130mm
  • Fineness approx 26 to 33 microns
  • Has a strong but irregular crimp in the fibres
  • A moderately soft wool

Spins really nicely both on a drop spindle and on a wheel, takes acid milling dyes really well with bright clear results but is reluctant to felt.
